Our Story
Saheli & Supper began with a simple idea: what if making new friends as an adult felt easier—warmer—and more intentional?
We create gatherings where women feel welcomed, seen, and connected. This is more than events — it’s a movement rooted in sisterhood, culture, and impact.
A Note From Our Hosts
Hi! We’re Jaanki and Bansari — sisters who grew up in the DMV after moving from the UK, spent our adult years in PA for college and then LA and NYC building our lives, and have now found our way back home to the DMV.
We created Saheli & Supper to build the South Asian sisterhood we always wished we had — a space rooted in connection, creativity, and community,
Inspired by our selfless grandma, Pushpaben, who had a way of making everyone feel seen and included, a portion of every event supports The Pushpaben Foundation, our nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls in India with menstrual health resources, education and the tools they need to live financially free, independent lives.
More than a supper club — its purpose, sisterhood and a legacy of love.
